Is Janet Jackson Pregnant at 50?

JANET JACKSON told fans she and husband Wissam Al Mana
are “planning our family” in a video message released just moments ago.

While it’s unclear if the singer is pregnant at the moment, she went onto say that she’s been instructed to “rest up” by doctors.

It goes some way to explaining why the 49-year-old was forced to cancel the European leg of her Unbreakable tour days before it was due to kick off last month.

“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there has actually been a sudden change,” she explained. “I thought you should be the first to know that my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.

“Please if you can try and understand that I need to do this now. I have to rest up, doctors orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can.”

The singer was forced to postponed the US leg of her tour in January after a tumour was found on her throat.

“I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon,” she wrote just before the new year. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable tour until the spring.”

Jackson didn’t elaborate on her condition at the time, saying: “There will be no further comment.”

The singer’s response was preceded by a message from her publicists, which said: “It was Janet’s wish not to make any further comments about her health, however, because of the great concern from around the world, Janet will be releasing a personal message shortly.”

After denying the cancer rumour, the 49-year-old stated: “I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.”
