Beyonce Backs Prince’s Trust

BEYONCÉ HAS teamed up with The Prince’s Trust to raise funds for the youth charity.

The singer launched the #BeyGood campaign to tie in with her UK dates of the Mrs Carter World Tour, which begins next week.

Concert-goers who support the cause, which aims to help disadvantaged young people across the UK, will get the chance to have their seats upgraded to an exclusive VIP area.

Fans can earn a sticker by making a £3 donation to The Prince’s Trust by text or online, purchasing a #BeyGood t-shirt, or bringing used items of clothing to a donation site at the venues.

The 32-year-old said: “As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals. So many young people don’t have this.

“I am honoured to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince’s Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves.”

Queen Bey plays ten concerts across February and March in London, will kick things off at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on February, 20 and perform in London, Dublin and Birmingham before heading to concerts around Europe.

Chief executive of The Prince’s Trust Martina Milburn added: “We are very proud that Beyoncé has partnered with The Prince’s Trust through her #BeyGood campaign.

“As a longstanding ambassador of our charity, Beyonce understands that, every day in the UK, young people are facing not only unemployment, but also the devastating effects of homelessness, addiction, poverty, bullying and poor mental health.

“All of these hardships can leave them feeling that life isn’t worth living. It is up to us to help them get their lives back on track and the funds raised through the #BeyGood campaign will help us to do that.”
