Dr.Ozzy Osbourne Dishes Out The Dirt — In New Book

Ozzy Osbourne dishes out some medical advice in his new book, Trust me, I’m Dr. Ozzy- and if anyone knows how to cheat death it’s the prince of darkness.

He writes that after surviving 40 years of massive drug and alcohol consumption, he now finds it’s a “never -ending struggle trying to live the perfect balanced lifestyle if you’re as unbalanced as I am.”

During his peak, the Grammy-winning music icon,62, says he typically drank four bottles of cognac a day, passed out and started again when he work up.

While taping the reality show The Osbournes, which aired from 2002 to 2005, he took 42 different prescription medications daily, noting that morphine was his “favourite” drug.

His sleeping pill addiction, which took 25 years to kick caused him to forget everything since 1975. He smoked so much dope and tobacco he had to cancel shows because of a troublesome cough.

He also set his own house on fire more than once after passing out with a lit cigarette in his hand. Incredibly, Ozzy once drank two 28-gallon barrels of beer in less than a week. Daily jogs around Beverly Hills were only after snorting a gram of speed so he could run fast.

He was once declared dead twice while in a chemically induced coma after breaking his neck in a quad bike accident. And what did not kill him made him…well alive. He says he is now clean sober and a “borerline Vegetarian.”

And what about his greatest achievement? Marrying his wife Sharon, a former ex-factor judge. “After 30 years my marriage to Sharon is stronger than ever.”Said Ozzy. “So I must be doing something right.”
