Rihanna To Adopt A Haitian Child
Rihanna is reportedly making arrangements to adopt a child from the still
earthquake-ravaged country of Haiti. According to sources, the sexy 23-year-old
R&B singer is “dead-set on becoming a mum to a child from Haiti, and she’s just
had lawyers make contacts.”
“Rihanna does not see herself having a biological child anytime soon because she
does not have a man in her life.” said a source close to the Bajan- born star
who spoke to AfroSaxonHeat exclusively. “Since all the negative publicity from
the Chris Brown saga she is suspicious of men.She does not trust guys that
easily. She wants to make her life less about her and more about someone else.”
AfroSaxonHeat understands that Rihanna is getting support from mentor Jay Z and
wife Beyonce, who last week announced her pregnancy to the world.She has even
asked the happily married pair to be Godparents.
Rihanna who hails from Barbados which is only a stone’s throw from Haiti,
rallied round to help the devastated Caribbean isle by performing on that
headline-making TV benefit and then donated all the proceeds to the Haiti
disaster fund: “This is about Rihanna getting out from under herself and making
a difference in the world – starting with one child.” said an insider in Haiti.
