Lionel Messi To Join Chelsea —World Exclusive
Lionel Messi is set for a summer move to Carlo Ancelotti’s Chelsea. The Barcelona ace and world footballer of the year is keen to play in the premiership after many seasons in La Liga.
A source close to the Argentine international revealed to AfroSaxonHeat that Messi’s people have begun talks with Chelsea and they are optimistic about the player’s move to the London club.
“Messi likes the premiership and wants to play there. He likes the fast pace of the British game. He feels he can make a meaningful contribution to the game in England. He wants to try new things and right now it’s happening in England and Messi wants to be part of it. He likes Chelsea”said the source close to the star who spoke exclusively to AfroSaxonHeat “Even if there are no premiership clubs in the European finals this year Messi, feels that they will be back soon. He wants to be even bigger in England”
Messi who has scored more than thirty-something goals this season for Barcelona, is expected to be featured heavily in this year’s World Cup for Argentina, in South Africa.
Argentinean coach and World cup winner Diego Maradona has declared Messi his successor and is expected to give him the freedom to play anywhere he wants to provided he can terrorise defences and score goals which will bring football’s greatest prize to Argentina.
A spokeman at Barcelona football club said that he can neither confirm nor deny Messi’s people are in talks with Chelsea.
