Sir Viv’s Cricket Mission To Brunei—Exclusive

Sir Viv RichardsMaster Blaster Sir Viv Richards, has been invited by the Sultan Of Brunei, to set up a coaching clinic for his kids and immediate family. The former Windies Cricket Captain seen by many as the World’s best batsman will set up shop for a couple of weeks where he will teach the kids all there is to know about cricket in the Oil-rich kingdom.

In an exclusive interview With AfroSaxonHeat , he says” I am looking forward to it. I love to do my part for the good of the game. The Sultan’s son is a good mate and they have really looked after me. They are a very nice family and we have kept in touch since I last went out there. I would like to help in anyway I can. I think the boys got a knack for the game and it would be nice if they could pick it up and set up a future team in Brunei where they could complete on the World stage. I am pleased and look forward to working with them. We get on really well. They are really gentle people”.

Sir Viv who along with Donald Bradman, Garthfield Sobers and Shane Warne, was named as one of the five cricketers of the century is currently in Trinidad sorting out property deals.

He plans to fly out soon to fulfill his latest cricketing mission. We wish him all the best in getting Brunei’s cricket up and running.
